Suominen is strengthening its capabilities in sustainable products by investing in a new production line at its site in Alicante, Spain. The new production line increases Suominen’s Card-Pulp-Card (CPC) capacity and was made in line with Suominen’s strategy and vision to be the frontrunner in sustainability.

Meanwhile, First Quality Tissue will install two new state-of-the-art Thru-Air-Dried (TAD) paper machines with associated converting facilities at a new location to be announced in the near future. The company estimates the first paper machine to be operational in 2027 with the second machine coming online approximately eighteen months thereafter. This new investment will add additional capacity to First Quality’s existing operations; which currently includes eight TAD machines at two manufacturing sites located in Lock Haven, PA and Anderson, SC.
